We’ve heard a lot of talk about Saba Trim Pro, so we took the opportunity to dig deeper into the ingredients, side effects, clinical research and customer service quality. We took hundreds of forum posts and comments into consideration. Then, we collected, condensed and refined to give you the info you need.
What You Need to Know
First off, Saba Trim Pro is a weight-management formula containing Advantra Z (synephrine), caffeine, black pepper extract, chromium, cocoa bean and more. There are no clear instructions on how to use the supplement, but with 60 capsules in each bottle we suspect you take 2 each time and that’s supposed to be enough to promote weight-loss. The bottle’s small so you’ll have no trouble taking it with you.
The product, formulated by AMS Health Sciences, LLC, likely uses all natural ingredients, a healthy choice. It is available to buy from the official website and from outside retailers. We like that some dieters report some good results and it’s easy to purchase, but read on…
Jitters Anyone?
The first issue we had with Saba Trim Pro ingredients was the potential for side effects. “There are clinically proven formulas on the market that don’t cause jitters and shakes,” says our Research Editor. “If a company thinks a dieter will stand by and trade effectiveness for negative reactions, they are mistaken.”
“The first time I took this, I took it according to directions. 1/2 hour later I started experiencing chills like I was getting a fever and it got worse before it got better,” says a user.
“Makes me shaky did not loose any weight or inches in a months time . would not purchase again!,” explains a dieter.
Still more reports of the same effects, “This stuff gave me the same effect as drinking a few espressos. Jittery, anxious, and still hungry, since discontinuing this product, I have lost more weight than I did while on it.”

The FDA is Looking
In 2014, the FDA took notice of AMS Health Sciences, LLC at least two times. One letter claimed the company marketed supplements as drugs. “The therapeutic claims on your website and other product labeling establish that the products are drugs because they are intended for use in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.”
The other addressed a recall for possible contamination. “AMS Health Sciences, LLC is notifying the public that it is recalling 2014 bottles of Saba Shark Cartilage Complex due to possible contamination of Salmonella.”
High Price
Saba Trim Pro price may not seem like it’s too high, but when you look at the formula it’s another story. The two main ingredients are caffeine and Advantra Z – both stimulants. You can find them as standalone products or in other supplements for a fraction of the $50 price tag on Saba Trim Pro.
One dieter says it all, “Way overpriced. This stuff gave me the same effect as drinking a few espressos.”
In our research, we associated negative issues, like adverse reactions, with a smaller chance of long-term success. If Saba Trim Pro side effects are enough to keep the dieter from sticking with the program, what’s the sense in spending the money?
The Science
AMS Health Sciences, LLC doesn’t bother to share clinical studies proving the ingredients or supplements work as claimed. You can find research and some, like caffeine, are shown to have a positive effect on metabolism. What we have issue with is the Advantra Z, which is associated with potentially negative side effects. A piece in Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology says, “The increases in heart rate and blood pressure were more pronounced when caffeine was added [to synephrine].” DietSpotlight looks for proof a product works and is safe. If safety is compromised for any reason, we suggest turning away.
The Bottom Line
Our interest in Saba Trim Pro peaked, but we soon found what we were looking for. We like that AMS Health Sciences, LLC offers a complete list of ingredients and there are some positive customer reviews, but we can’t recommend a supplement that could potentially cause negative side effects. We’re also concerned that the company has no BBB rating and the address is a housing community.
If it’s time to get that extra weight off, we suggest going with a supplement with no side effects associated with any of the clinically proven ingredients. It also helps if the price is affordable.
Among the best of products we’ve encountered in 2015 is Leptigen. There’s a proprietary blend of four ingredients in the supplement that have been clinically proven to help speed up metabolism and accelerate fat loss. Side effects are not something any dieter is talking about. We did find plenty of reports of users seeing great results, however.
Plus, it’s with confidence in the formula that the makers of Leptigen are offering a special trial offer, not your every day bonus.
