What You Need to Know

Nutraburst is a liquid vitamin, consisting of acai berry extract, resveratrol, hoodia, green tea extract and quercetin. The recommended serving is one tablespoon per day, which supposedly supports overall health and weight-loss. One of the benefits of the supplement is ease of use.

Ineffectiveness

The first concern about Nutraburst ingredients was the claim that they didn’t work. “Diet supplements have one job,” said our Research Editor. “That is to work as promised. If that’s not what happens, save your money.”

“Sadly to report, I noticed no difference at all. The pills might as well have been placebo as far as weight loss is concerned,” reported a dieter.

Poor Customer Service

Based upon forum posts about Iaso Nutraburst, the customer service department was  not helpful. “This company is HORRIBLE. They continued to take my money after cancellation and I had to file a claim though my bank. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company for any reason,” reported a dieter.

“When asked for a refund, I was told the trial period ended. According to the comp, it ended before I ever received the product,” stated a customer.

“To make it worse, when I tried to cancel the number was “out of service” for almost 2 weeks. Now they have auto-charged me for something I tried to cancel – even cancelled via email!,” commented a user.

Research we’ve conducted shows if any portion of a supplement is thought of as a concern, such as poor customer service quality, that could reduce the chances of long-term success. If Nutraburst doesn’t provide exceptional care, that could be enough to turn the dieter away.

The Science

After analyzing the official Nutraburst website, we found the company makes the case that supplements are safe and effective. That’s true some of the time, but not always. We found no clinical evidence to support any weight-loss claims for the product. If you look at the key ingredients, there’s a different side of the story. According to the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutic, “no published, peer-reviewed randomized controlled trials examining efficacy of Hoodia were found” and acai berry is typically added to “fad” diet formulas. At DietSpotlight, finding science to back promises is critical. If there are no studies, we turn away.

The Bottom Line

After carefully researching Nutraburst, here’s our decision. There are some positives, like the time the company has in the industry and that we found some favorable customer comments, but we can’t recommend it because the product isn’t supported by published clinical studies. We’re also concerned about the unsupportive service department and ineffectiveness – dieters deserve better.

If you are looking to improve weight-loss, we recommend going with a supplement containing a formula backed by published clinical research. One that’s backed by a supportive customer service team.
